Flower and Horse

I snapped this picture at Holy Island on Saturday 11th July. I saw a horse in a field, with these wild flowers growing out of the wall in front of it. Setting the Nokia N95 onto closeup mode, I focused on the flower, making sure that the horse was in the background. I'm proud of the result!

Strawberries

Nothing says summer like Strawberries and Cream, so we got some from our local supermarket. When I got them home, I couldn't help but notice how vibrant the colours were. So out came the Nokia N95 and I got this shot. Nice.

Didgeridoo on the Bridge

In Durham on Friday 10 July 2009, I spied this man playing the didgeridoo on the bridge over the River Wear. I signalled to him, asking if I could snap a picture. He nodded his agreement, so I whipped out my Nokia N95 and took this picture. I love the way his dog seemed so bored at his master's fantastic sound. His playing of the instrument was awesome.

Framwellgate Bridge

So I was in Durham today with my wife, and it was a pretty overcast today-my kind of weather, I'm not too keen on the blistering heat. Leaning across the masonry of the bridge, looking along the River Wear, Durham cathedral and castle in the background. Beautiful. So I pulled out the Nokia N95 and took this picture. I set it to close up mode to get the blurred image of the castle in the background. I love this image-I may have found my new desktop wallpaper.

The Tree in The Rock

I snapped this image on my trusty Nokia N95 - yes, I still own this fantastic phone - at the weekend in Ambleside, Cumbria.

I had just been in a car crash, so I think that I did remarkably well to manage to keep a steady hand!

I was walking along the pavement when I looked up and spotted the image that you can see now. I thought it was fab - what do you think?

The Rainbow

I had the ultimate thrill of spending two days at Alton Towers, riding such fantastic rides as Nemesis, Air, Oblivion, Rita, The River Rapids and many more. There were lots of great photo moments of all of us, both before, during and after Alton Towers.

The picture that I wanted to share, though, was this: the rainbow that appeared during the rain shower as we were just about to leave. It was so bright and beautiful. To be honest, I didn't think that the Nokia N95 would do the image justice, but I think that it captured it rather well.
